ACT ONE

Scene One…Overture and Space Ship journey from other interior worlds to the Hollow interior of Earth and the land of Nor.

Scene Two…REJOICING x 3 of Rium and Sarisha outdoors

Scene Three…Epoh and Niac find Rium & Sarisha. WHEN WILL YOU FIND YOUR LOVE

Scene Four A chorus of children are running playfully away from Kasemaj. Epoh and Niac come in only to quickly turn and leave once seen by Kasemaj. THE LORD BE GLORIFIED IN ME

Scene Five…Kasemaj and Epoh contend at the wedding reception hall, JERUSALEM with chorus, then Elag consoles Epoh. Kasemaj with a sudden revelation renders, THIS MOMENT IN TIME, with chorus of entire wedding company.

Scene Six…Out in the garden Sarisha’s romantic fantasy discovered by Rium, LOOK AT YOU, a romantic duet of Rium and Sarisha, OUR LOVE MY LOVE, and Epoh’s celebratory, GO FIND YOUR FATHER.

Scene Seven…At the big rock on the mountain top Kasemaj is found by Rium and Sarisha, THIS IS THE DAY I DIE.

Scene Eight…Croyden and Niac enter the mountain top clearing first laughingly, WE NEVER REPENT, the king’s company enter while Croyden and Niac continue with POWER, finally the entire company celebrate the arrival of the Space Ship of pretense, PARTY SHIP, mounting the rock near the clearing Kasemaj calls down upon the entire company, THE REBUKE, emboldened by Kasemaj’s tumble off the rock Niac secures an arrest of Kasemaj, THE ARREST, and the company rejoices and prepares for death on the spot.

Scene Nine…Sarisha prays earnestly behind the rock, MY SACRIFICE, musically, she is answered by the Lord, she comes out to call to her father who is already aware.

Scene Ten…King Croyden discovers that his son, Rium is present and loses his nerve and so allows Kasemaj to sing over Niac’s objection, THE HERO’S CHAMPION, the people are moved to join Kasemaj in singing as they repent, Kasemaj is untied unaided and ascends up slowly, Croyden sings out for him to return, PEACE FOREVER, the company join Rium singing. THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD.

Scene Eleven…Alone again on the other side of the rock Rium wonders over the astonishing events, WHAT WAS IT, reality sinks in when Sarisha informs Rium what she sacrificed all, even their love, THY WILL O GOD NOT MINE BE DONE, an empathetic treatment of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

ACT TWO

THE RENEWAL INTERLUDE

Scene One…At the wedding feast the chorus regales with a toast to the bride and groom, ABUNDANT LIFE, returning suddenly, Rium and Sarisha account to Epoh the mountain top news, WHERE’S YOUR FATHER, Elag panics a wrecked event.

Scene Two…Inside the church of the palace Niac bungles the formalities while the chorus carries the point home, WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR WAYS, King Croyden calls for the sustaining of the new order of things while Niac continues to lose his grip upon reality, ARISE, the chorus, Croyden and Rium, led by Sarisha close the meeting upon the central point while Niac continues to introspect. MESSIAH,BORN IN BETHLEHEM

Scene Three…Inside the Great Hall of the palace the coronation of Rium is announced with Sarisha appointed the King’s First Chancellor, Rium sings greetingly. ON MY SOUL

Scene Four…Epoh in her room repenting sincerely discovered unknown to Epoh by Sarisha, MESSIAH HAVE MERCY, allowing her mother to rest Sarisha sweetly coos, NEW CHILD LULLABY, suddenly a rushing wind of spiritual power brings the answer from God to Epoh’s plea as Sarisha explains.

Scene Five…Stepping out of the bedchamber of her mother Sarisha defends the door as she is confronted by three devils. I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG

Scene Six…Entering in again to her mother’s bedchamber she discovers her father, Kasemaj singing rejoicing over the repentance and new sainthood of his wife, MY WIFE AWAKENED, Epoh awakens to her husband and Sarisha joins them both to reprise the play’s opening. A MOMENT OF LOVE

Scene Seven…At the stadium a drummer engages two athletes as those three devils return as strutting and preening Rock Stars who find a hostile crowd. WE WANT TO THANK YOU

Scene Eight…Singing and dancing through the streets the Piper leads a company celebrating the new liberty. WE ARE FREE

Scene Nine…Rium and Sarisha come together and admit they will not forsake their love, THERE IS NOTHING MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN YOU, after Rium withdraws Sarisha sings a faithful prologue to resign herself to the will of God, DAY TO DAY, awarded from on High she has proving faithful to her trial.

Scene Ten… Kasemaj returns to answer Nascent’s question, WHAT’S IT LIKE IN JERUSALEM, the company rejoices to see Kasemaj, return to finish their work, then arise in great strength to astonishingly open the earth, with a cast up highway to enter the outer world rejoicing as a little child leads them. THE END

ACT ONE

 

Scene One

THE LOVE OF GOD OVERTURE

The music begins as the lights go down as a movie is projected on the round dome of the theater’s ceiling or as if the view screen of a Space Vessel and shows how it jumps from one interior world to the next manifesting that the universe is dominated more by interior worlds that are the norm rather than worlds planted in the outer darkness realms like our earth.

 

Portals open to the Space Vessel and allow it to enter and exit without traversing the distances between the different orbs. Soon the projections center around the staged viewing monitor of the command bridge of the Space Vessel where Enos, a man of great wisdom with a mentoring aptitude is conducting the young Kasemaj on a journey through the stars and finally back to earth but first to slow down and witness the outer regions of this earth and especially the Holy City, Jerusalem, so that they young prophet protégé can witness the reality of what the Holy Scriptures talk about to know for himself that they are true that he might teach his own people of Nor the right way of the Lord in due time.

Brother Nacent, this is your first visit to the Holy Sphere, is it not?

 

NASCENT of a searching and inquisitive nature

Yes, this is my very first time.

 

ENOS

Then you must prepare yourself.

 

NASCENT

Prepare?

 

ENOS

For the shock that always hits us so hard when we enter near that one world turned inside out.

 

NASCENT

I have beheld its various manifestations from many visionary perspectives

 

ENOS laughing

Visionary perspectives?

 

NASCENT

It is almost like being there.

 

 

 

 

ENOS

God had need for only this world prepared in the Outer Darkness regions of a single sphere out of all of his creations, only this earth for the Holy One, the Son of God to come here and do his great work.

 

NASCENT reflects

When you build a mansion you should move inside and not live out on the roof exposed to all the elements.

 

ENOS

You might think the Great Father is acting a bit of the showman, keeping an exposed world in delicate balance to its life light and fully protected from major collision.

 

Earth is approaching closer and closer as the vessel steers around the moon and begins to circle in on the Holy Land.

 

NASCENT

It is the only one of its kind, and for such a long time. Is it true what they say about the probates that live there? Are they really so cold, so unyielding to the truth? He made them and they knew him not?

 

Some of the crewmen rustle about operating various systems. The Middle East is seen as Enos and Nascent speak of Jerusalem.

 

ENOS

Messiah came two millennia in the past.

 

NASCENT

How could they not know?

 

 

 

ENOS

They inhabit the Outer Darkness realms. Do you understand what that means?

 

NASCENT

Tempters are allowed into the probate regions of interior space as well.

 

ENOS with slight contempt

A few powerful ones manage to get inside. That is true enough. But the numbers that swarm over this outer world. That is the SHOCK. You can sense them all, can you not? That is why we bypass the Outer Darkness. But for young Kasemaj there [gestures] we must slow for his sake before we enter the inner house.

NASCENT

ENOS gestures to Kasemaj to come over

Kasemaj, come up here and meet our young navigator. Until now anyways, Helmsman take us in. Nascent, this is Kasemaj the young probate you have no doubt heard a lot about.

 

NASCENT

Yes, a probate still. Shall he be quickened here before us all?

 

ENOS with both hands on the shoulders of young Kasemaj

No. Not for some time yet. This is a chosen young man we have here with us. He must see the truth for himself and turn his whole nation to the right way of the Lord. That to know the truth is to know God. Kasemaj say hello to my young friend Nascent.

 

YOUNG KASEMAJ shaking hands heartily with Nascent

Hello, I rather like your name, Nascent, what does it mean?

 

NASCENT

Glad to meet you, Kasemaj. And do you know about our work at the Universal Seed Port Service inside the Holy Sphere?

 

ENOS interrupting

Mostly he had to see the outside of the Holy Sphere, to recognize the cities mentioned in his people’s scriptures that he might know enough to take them most literally. A lot will depend upon this.

 

YOUNG KASEMAJ

My people learn everything but it means nothing to them. The Great Ones ignore my people as they must by their laws. We have had wars that fight over what is real and what is only fable. We still believe that we were brought inside of the earth for a fantastic destiny to return. But many think Jerusalem does not exist.

 

NASCENT

No Jerusalem would mean no Messiah. They do not believe?

 

ENOS

Not enough to get it right. Refugees here for many generations. It is all fables to them. By his own example young Kasemaj here will show them how to obtain the grace of Messiah. Or he might just die trying. Right?

KASEMAJ

You have not told me how I will do that.

 

ENOS

Just live your life and keep your own faith strong. Only our God can turn a soul inside out to understand what the truth is.

 

They have passed into the interior of the planet earth through a dimensional portal that just opened up and closed behind them.

The surface of this hollow world is much like earth on the outside. Mountains, rivers, large oceans and continents with snows at higher elevations, lakes, deserts and forests, and a typical topography with similar plants except that photosynthesis is not a chloroplast base here. Multicolored esters furnish this world in a constant autumn-like array of colors, but more vibrantly alive and flourishing.

 

A suspended cluster rotates on its own emitting spokes of light that light up the same kind of blue skies that hide the darkness, but almost at random shadows fall upon this world here and there allowing the sight of the opposite side of the hollow orb to be seen as well as the spoke rays of the cluster sun.

 

Imagine the earth is only eight hundred mile thick before it hollows out. That would allow for the interior world to be about six thousand and three hundred miles from side to side. And the atmosphere could only be a few thousand feet leaving thousands of miles of deep space between opposite sides an astonishing world.

 

The craft makes its approach and docks at a splendid city. The crew prepares to leave.

 

ENOS

Perhaps Nascent or I will visit you from time to time.

 

NASCENT

I would be honored Kasemaj. I will pray for your success.

YOUNG KASEMAJ

Why were my people ever brought to this place?

 

ENOS

They must leave one day soon in the power and majesty of the Great God, to the astonishment of the outer world. They will abide in peace and triumph when Zion is brought forth in a single day.

 

NASCENT

You shall fulfill scripture, you and your people. As spoken of by the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah and Joseph; the earth shall travail and bring forth her strength.

 

 

ALMOST FIFTY YEARS LATER

 

ACT ONE

Scene Two

 

Kasemaj is now fifty-eight years old. His beautiful daughter, Sarisha, is out in the wilderness with her life long friend, Rium, who is King Croyden’s only son. Both are in their early twenties and both are remarkably advanced spiritually. They are the only success Kasemaj has been able to manage. Even his own wife Epoh resists the gospel that Kasemaj offends nearly everyone about with his constant harpings.

 

REJOICING 1

Taking advantage of a break in the wedding day of her sister, Elag, Sarisha and Rium are out expressing their shared joy in the knowledge of the goodness of God. Like King David of old they sing and dance with their whole heart, might, mind and strength before the Lord. They are real and true saints who know God.

Saints must worship God continually because they know the truth that God is all in all and life is not about us.

Scene Three

 

As the music begins Rium and Sarisha take to an open space to dance a splendid ballet together unto their God and not so much unto each other. Epho, an impatient and fretting soul, and Sarisha’s mother, enters looking for these two with her brother in-law Niac who is the King’s First Chancellor. Niac comes off only deservedly arrogant as an artful and blameless accusatory soul.

While the music continues the ballet ends as Rium escorts Sarisha up to her mother and exits. Epho and Sarisha sing together and Niac sings his own musing more to himself as they all turn to go.

All four finish the song as a chorus of children enter to herald the approach of Kasemaj. The children love Kasemaj and yet tease him about his exuberance and saintly rebukes and praising he carries out in the wilderness much like Rium and Sarisha

ACT ONE

Scene Four

 

THE LORD BE GLORIFIED IN ME

As the music comes up children rush in from all directions in a different part of the wilderness, squealing and laughing as if being chased by a friendly monster. We hear Kasemaj singing before he enters as the children will sing before he does appear. Epoh and Niac enter only to wait to catch the eye of Kasemaj then exit.

 

Kasemaj comes off ill tempered but having suffered an impossible life being alienated from his family and his community. His unrequited passions for the truth and for his God casts a pall of insanity over him and the children take advantage of that. Kasemaj does not mind as any attention is better than the apathy from his own wife and brother. He is bedraggled to have failed his life’s great purpose for so long.

 

Epoh mocks her husband under her breath as if she has heard his thunders a thousand times. Rolling her eyes and mouthing the same words Kasemaj sings she relieves her own pensive tensions, knowing full well how hated her husband is by his own brother Niac who will witness this for a while and withdraw. Rium and Sarisha are fully engaged by the children.

Scene Five

 

THIS WILL BE THE DAY

[lights up] At a reception hall in town open to a garden area Kasemaj and Epoh are busy setting things up while a few family and friends scurry about. Both Rium and Sarisha are in and out as well as the groom Notlim and the bride Elag, the second daughter of Kasemaj. Notlim is completely nondiscript and Elag is carefully in full control of everything.
